How much time does it require?
The amount of time you spend on Jaycee events is entirely up to you. Some members attend activities weekly, others perhaps once every month or two. With a frequent and wide variety of activities to choose from, you can participate as frequently as you would like.

Where are the activities and events held?
Activities run by the Burbank Jaycees are typically held in or near Burbank. However, since we work closely with other Jaycee chapters throughout the state, we can participate in many activities over a larger area. Members are also generally invited to activities held by any Jaycee chapter throughout the nation, and even internationally.

How much does it cost?
First year’s membership is $75. Each year is $60 thereafter. Associate membership is also available for those 41 and above for $60. Please ask our Membership Vice President for details of an associate membership. The costs of activities vary in price. Some, such as our monthly socials, are free to members; other activities range in price depending on the event, anything from wine tasting to a weekend ski trip. Non member rates vary by activity and are listed with that activity. Some employers may sponsor your membership. Ask your company or boss for a sponsorship!

When was the chapter established?
The Burbank Jaycees have a long historical tradition in the City of Burbank. The chapter was established in the mid-1950s. The Burbank Jaycees took a small break during the late 80s and 90s but today the chapter has been reestablished into a strong and energetic entity. It contains a great team, many award-winning leaders, and many talented members.

Are you affiliated with the Burbank Chamber of Commerce?
Though not affiliated, the Burbank Jaycees have established a wonderful relationship with the Burbank Chamber of Commerce. Corporations and local business are encouraged to become part of both the Chamber and the Jaycees. Dues paid to the Burbank Jaycees can be applied toward membership in the Burbank Chamber.
